Earth Groans
Falls
Heaven had chosen a rock to store her
But the granite could not withhold
Breaching, the rock gave birth to a river
With elegance she rained down from above

Mesmerizing, her beauty a sight to behold
Captivating all creation on which she bestows
Even the hills bow, making way for her display
I craved her refreshment, to even draw a taste

Clouds of mist cast a hue
Colors sing winsomeness

On your crest I will settle my head
The fowls of the air will be our serenade
My limbs were loose but in your rush i felt secure
Descending, I have been swept away
By your current

Crystal surface reflects your benevolence
A drink to quench the mouths of nature and creature
Empathetic, swallowing the griefs in each wave
Washing the burdens of the broken hearted

Clouds of mist cast a hue
Colors sing of Tenderness
On your crest I will settle my head
The fowls of the air will be our serenade
My limbs were loose but in your rush I felt secure
Descending, I have been swept away
My life has changed
By your current

As I hold my lungs full of trust
Inch to the edge, heart in my throat
Take a step, I'll delight in the fall
Plummeting into your blue vault

I found a peace at the foot of your shore
I will be swept away by your tide
A river that won’t dry
