Shadow Boxing
That lady in the sky is a full moon singing white
Tall shadow steps to cast while I’m walking round the whole night
Won’t be to scared to fall, yeah I’ll probably just float
You know that cold light’s just a reflection of the sun glow

There’s something calling out in the breeze where I do run
I’ll exit that vignette and I’ll step into a new one
One moment there then and suddenly I’m carried off, the breeze is gone

My morning star broke up
I’m shadowboxing angel dust
Float my glory cloud back to the sky
And I cry, “there is a place for us”
But waking up this seems undone
And leaves me alone and wondering why

She’s looking through the glass at a white face passing by
This memories got hands that I’ll kiss until the sun shines
My shadow grows and then disappears into the night
Want to surround myself want to feel it like the last time

There’s something calling out and it finally came through
Last night that dream I had reoccurs as they are known to
What I thought was is not what is it’s just a face that I once knew

My morning star broke up
I’m shadowboxing angle dust
Float my glory cloud back to the sky
And I cry, “there is a place for us”
But waking up this seems undone
And leaves me alone and wondering why
