Limitless Forgiveness
[Verse 1]
It doesn't matter what you've done, or how severe
Just remember that at one point, Jesus was here
And He died on the cross for every single sin you could commit
Even if that guilt is on your shoulders, remember that there is no limit
To the grace that we've received, no matter how much we've abused it
I mean, don't get me wrong, we still shouldn't misuse it
But if you've messed up and you're stressed out and feel unforgiven
Just go and ask God for forgiveness, I know he always listens
Once you've asked for that, stop worrying, it's in the past
You aren't defined by your sins, you were saved by the first and the last
And the concept of limitless love can be kind of hard for us to grasp
And sometimes we mess up, and fall in to Satan's trap
But there is nothing you could do, to stop God's love for you
And if you've messed up bad, you might start thinking that isn't true
But those thoughts are influenced by the enemy, don't let them deceive you
Because there's no limit to the love and forgiveness we receive you...know?
[Verse 2]
We all sin, and sometimes it could be something outrageous
But we have to remember that there's no limit to our saving
Our sins could be insane, but they're not more powerful than our savior
Jesus took every single sin on the cross, minor or major
So even if other people don't forgive you, and some people hate you
That doesn't stop the gift of grace that Jesus gave you
We're told that all of our sins have been officially paid for
So what do we try and act like we need a maid for?
Jesus has cleansed us of all of our sins, every last one
To think we're unforgiven could be disrespectful to the son
Remember in the end, we'll be saying, "God has won"
And that means that Satan, sin, and death will be defeated
Jesus' grace is there, even if you've yet to see it
And the perfect person doesn't exist, it's impossible to be it
But even if we've messed up more than normal, there's still a higher being we should put first
And he sent his son to pay for everything we've done, bad, evil, and worse
