Our DNA is that of Kings
Our combined voice is a language of poetry
That dances in the light of righteousness;
A new social network rooted in social consciousness
Therefore we must preserve our culture
A culture of sit ins and marches that made
Us jump boundaries and barriers
A culture that took drums
And made melodious raps
We understand that there is a potential when we work as a unit
We understand it’s easier to build a strong child than repair a broken man
We are as strong as we are united
We are as weak as we are divided
We are no longer invisible
We are invincible
As we adjust our crowns toward the future
We understand that we achieve the impossible everyday
But miracles take a little longer
