Artificial Brain
Tome of the Exiled Engineer
Spinning, white hot like a dragon wheel
It blinds my inner eye
The labyrinth I carved into their face
I looked into their eyes and cried
Paralyzed in stasis with no basic comprehension that they'll die
They'll never tell another lie
My colleagues laughed behind my back
And so I dropped them from mid-flight
I tossed their corpses from the sky
Bodies like bombs
Bursting on impact
A crater of fertilizer
Their lab coats like tapеstries flailing in the wind
Until they blеnd in with the snow below
Alone, unhindered
Finally I can collect my thoughts
What this spaceship is designed for
Cloaking from radar
Now I can experiment on planets from afar
From the stars
We were the only ones
Who survived the volcanic blast
Our ship made it through
But our time had passed
Now I wander the lab by myself, reflecting on our work
Their tissue samples on the shelves
It was I who took them first
The androids equipped with bombs
We stole organic basics from clones of explorers who went vacant
Now only I have access to control their directives
