6IX9INE Interview
[Interviewer]
Pleasure meeting you, man. So, can you say that this is physically the largest sneaker store in the world, that you ever seen?

[6ix9ine]
It's the biggest sneaker store --- It's probably like Footlocker times 10,000, you know what I'm sayin'? **** is crazy, like. It looks like walking into a BJ's full of sneakers.

[Interviewer]
We call it the Costco of sneakers.

[6ix9ine]
Yeah, the Costco

[Interviewer]
Costco of sneakers, exactly. We'll call it BJ's now, so, I like BJ's I guess, more. So, how did you get into music?

[6ix9ine]
Umm, just joking around.

[Interviewer]
No way.

[6ix9ine]
Swear to god, just joking around. I always was like a outgoing kid, you know what I'm saying? So I thought it was funny and I was just like, "Yo, that **** look cool, let, let's," you know, me and a couple of friends were just ****ing around...

[Interviewer]
Right.

[6ix9ine]
And people just, (snaps), said, "Yo this **** is hard."

[Interviewer]
And what about the tats, what's the, what's the secret there?

[6ix9ine]
I didn't wanna - I didn't wanna get a job, so

[Interviewer]
You don't wanna get a job?

[6ix9ine]
I didn't wanna get a job. I kept getting fired, so I was just like, "**** it, let me just ****ing umm, tattoo my face."

[Interviewer]
No way.

[6ix9ine]
Swear.

[Inteviewer]
That was the whole reason?

[6ix9ine]
My face, yeah.

[Interviewer]
Okay

[6ix9ine]
Umm, and then umm, I just started tattooing my arms, first, 'cause I really liked tattoos.

[Interviewer]
Growing up in Brooklyn?

[6ix9ine]
