The Moat Of Tears
When you feel the sadness all around you know you're here
Let the drawbridge down over the moat of tears
I used to rely on hatred but in my older years
I realized hatred was how I dealt with my closest fears
I still have fear but everything is in the open here
I listen to my own desires with an open ear
Alone I know myself the best but when humans are near
I do not want to be with them
Do I make myself clear
In The castle on the throne I gaze into the mirror
Dark stone outside with the burgundy interior
If you cross the forest and arrive you have agility and the patience of the ancients and you're in search of tranquility
Tranquility in the sadness of the weather up above
You look into the water and see everything you love
Then it fades away and your reflection disappear
It all happens in an instant as you cross The Moat Of Tears

As you face tribulation everyday
And you come to the end of the day
You take the journey but you have no place to stay
Isolated in nature; Why must you feel this way
So your drop your bags and you kneel and start to pray
To whatevers up above so you can feel somewhat safe
You make your way for the castle after you get some rest
Across the moat of tears then you enter as a guest
