John 11:35
"Jesus wept"
Very popular scripture
Um, some people know it as the shortest scripture in all the Bible
And um, it's, it's sad that that's what it's known for
Because it's so much more than that
By John 11:35 "Jesus wept" or like, you know
The tears are streaming down Jesus's face, is
It's really showcasing his heart, you know?
Some people, when they think of Jesus
They forget his humanness, um
And how He felt, and how Jesus sympathizes, and how He cares
Like, Jesus already knew going into the situation
That He was going to resurrect Lazarus
It says that, this was
God was gonna get glorified for what was about to take place
But He sees his friends weeping and they're in pain
And He joins in, He joins in the weeping
He's right there with them sympathizing, weeping with them
It shows His compassion
Shows Jesus's heart
Uh, it's, it's, it's such a beautiful story
And that's just from one verse, there's, there's so much more
