["Little Sadie" by Crooked Still starts playing in the background. We then pan into a grown-up Ellie who stands in the middle of a party with a drink. She watches Dina dance and is then approached by Jessie]

Jessie: I hate these things.

Ellie: (wheeze) tell me about it.

Jessie: Your old man really laid into me today.

Ellie: What happened?

Jessie: Another big lecture about my patrols. Don't go here, don't go there. Funny how involved he gets when you're scheduled to go out.

Ellie: Yeah

[Jessie looks at the people dancing]

Jessie: She's been putting up quite the show.

[Dina finishes dancing and the crowd applaudes]

Ellie: I give you guys two weeks until you're back together.

Jessie: Not gonna happen. She... Said something to you?

Ellie: (Laughs) Make it one week.
Dina: Ellie, hey! What took you so long?

Ellie: Well I'm here, ain't I?

Jessie: Dina.

Dina: Jessie.

[Dina takes Ellie to dance a slow song]

Jessie: Hey, don't forget we need you at first light, so get some rest.

Dina: Yes sir.

Ellie: He's such a dick.

Dina: Come on. Okay, I have a very serious question for you. How bad do I smell?

[Ellie smells Dina]

Ellie: Like... a... hot pile of garbage.

Dina: Oh... Okay.

[Dina rubs herself on Ellie's cheek]
Dina: How about that?

Ellie: Grose.

Dina: (laughs) You love it.

Ellie: Every guy in this room is staring at you right now.

Dina: Maybe they're staring at you.

Ellie: (nods) They're not.

Dina: Maybe they're jealous of you.

Ellie: I'm... just a girl. Not a threat.

Dina: Oh Ellie... I think they should be terrified of you.

[Dina kisses Ellie]

[Scene fades out into gameplay]

[Ellie kills an enemy by stabbing him repeatedly in the neck]

Ellie: Fucker
[A group of enemies appear nearby]

Ellie: Shit

[Ellie moves past the group through thick vegetation, and sees multiple bodies hanging from the neck.]

[Ellie hides as a group of bandits prepare to execute a survivor, who's hanging from his neck.]

Survivor: Please don't do this. Don't.

Executioner: Listen

Survivor: Holy shit. No! No no no.

[The executioner stabs the survivor in the stomach, and rips his guts out, killing him with his intestine hanging from his open stomach.]

Ellie: Jesus.

[The sound of someone whistling alerts the execution group, and move out to find the source.]

Man: Spread out.

[Ellie hides behind a truck, and kills an enemy with her bow and arrow.]

[She continues to move slowly, but is discovered by an enemy as she prepared to kill a man with her knife.]

[She fights both enemies, stabbing one in the neck and killing the other with an axe to the face.]

Enemy: Hey!

[The enemy shoot Ellie in the arm]

Ellie: Fuck.

[Ellie runs away, and sneaks into a patch of tall grass to hide from enemies.]

Female enemy: She went into the grass. Watch yourself.

[Ellie hides under a nearby truck, panting.]

Female enemy: Ethan?

Ethan: What?

Female enemy: Wolf, she came through here. Dammit. Double back. Go!

[The female enemy checks under nearby cars, before checking Ellie's, who shoots her in the face as soon as the enemy sees her.]

[An enemy grabs Ellie by the leg. Holding her against the floor and punching her repeatedly.]

Enemy: You rat.

Ellie: Motherfucker.

[Ellie pushes the man away, grabs her pistol and shoots him three times in the chest, killing him.]

Man: Ethan!

[Ellie shoots the man as she takes cover behind a car. Another enemy shows up. Ellie tries to shoot her, but is out of bullets and is hit in the arm with an arrow.]

[Elllie jumps off the platform, grabs a bottle, and throws it at another enemy before grabbing her and pointing her pistol at her face. She turns around to use her hostage as a human shield, who is quickly killed by the archer.]

Enemy: I have eyes.

[Ellie runs past of the enemy's bullets and runs into an abandoned store, hiding behind the counter. She removes the arrow from her arm and begins to move around the store, trying to kill the three enemies that entered after her.]

[Ellie crafts an explosive arrow, and uses it to kill one of the enemies, before sprinting to another enemy and killing him with a machete.]

[The last enemy throws Ellie through a piece of glass, before another enemy comes into the store and almost kills Ellie with an arrow.]

Archer: Here!

[Ellie kills the archer with her machete, before being hit by the last enemy with an axe. She grabs the archer's arrows and launches three at the man, leaving him on his knees.]

Man: (coughs) You know, this is sacrifice land. Free.

[Ellie stabs the man in the neck with her machete, killing him.]

[Scene fades back to kissing]

Diana: See, I told you. They should be terrified

[Ellie Smiles]
