Debutaunt Ball
Kinda hard
To walk the red carpet
When the carpet is the train of someone’s gown
How bizarre
To wear a tux with a backpack
And be back in the pack as a guy totes you around
It’s the fashion show where most anything goes
No one bats an eye if you wear black tie
Unless your boutonniere has a prosciutto rose
Des clous flaunt at the debutante ball
I heard things got crazy when some lady let her hair fall
Who cares which is best when the rich get dressed
Yes I must confess that I love them all
At the debutante ball
I heard two cats sporting gravy boat hats
Got in a spat when they saw that they both had matching cravats
But they both got distracted by the fractal man’s hands
And went back to sloshing gravy in a gravy boat dance
Where abnormal becomes formal wear
Mmmm
It might hurt to have thorns under your skirt
But the crowd will keep on forming if your pinky’s in the air
Des clous flaunt at the debutante ball
I heard things got crazy when some lady let her hair fall
Who cares which is best when the rich get dressed
Yes I must confess that I love them all
At the debutante ball
