Battle Born
Battleborn

I was born on a battlefield
Divorce has got a mass appeal
Double agent, no replacement for the passion
Double agent, contemplating bout the past

I was raised in a broken home
Now I’m trying to explain in these broken poems
Lord knows that I came from a place of pain
Exposed to the game of love and hate
Mother focus on my fathers flaws
But we’re the same, similar strength
Father focus how my mothers lost
There’s no escape, both are to blame
Felt like a middleman, everyday
Speaking in riddles and separate
“Don’t tell your mom that I said that” AYE
Drop another bomb then I spread that AYE
Not Vietnam, but depressed anyway
Learned what not to say, repressed
Far too young to be this stressed
Like, a sponge I soaked the mess
My unsung poem, I digress

I’m in pain on the battlefield Dr., Dr., please
Heal me, stitch my wounds up now before I start bleed out
Wings out
Need to learn to fly before I hit the ground
My Mom & Dad too busy fighting they got me land bound
Can’t feel the love you speaking on
Remember my dad flipping my mom off when we gone
I'm facin shit that’s so hard to admit
Growin up in life you a poodle imma pit bitch
I was born on a battlefield
Divorce has got a mass appeal
Double agent, no replacement for the passion
Double agent, contemplating bout the past

Collosus juggernaut
I’m the shit & you are not
Way to big inside my head
This is how I end up dead
Parents taught me how handle the hardest of situations
Every time my friends parents stayed it would peek my Fascination
How is that
Tell me now
What the fucks become of love?
My innocence been killed , this is the plot that they have dug
Let my heart rot my here like my parents relations
I’ve been hardened , I am thankful , battle born & I’m faded

Now I’m none the wiser, non existent in my mind
Mom and dad they raised a fighter even though they split the time
Now I’m sticking to my grind
I finally learned to read the signs
Now I switched up, picked some tricks up
Learned to live with the design

I was born on a battlefield
Divorce has got a mass appeal
Double agent, no replacement for the passion
Double agent, contemplating bout the past
