I bought a bus with my friends
Colored it green and drove it down
All the way to Tennessee
And it was hot and it was cramped
The air was broken it was damp
I recall this vividly
But there’s no place I’d rather be
Than with my friends feeling free
In that van, living in the moment
Laughing praying none of this will change
And in that bus with my friends
We got lost along the way
Right outside of New Orleans
I got mad that we were late
To our Manchester place
Until I found my friends laughing
They said
“It’s not about where we’re going
Or how long it takes to get us there
The point of life is to live the little moments
Be they good or bad, you never get them back.”
There’s no place I’d rather be
Than with my friends feeling free
In that van, living in the moment
Laughing praying none of this will change
But it always does
Please don’t forget to live in the moment
Enjoy the ride, while you can
