survival meditation pt1
They took you
They took you away from the only place you could feel safe
And stopped you from ever going back
They didn't know what they were doing to you
Or they didn't care

Fear
Constricting your output
Considering for minutes at a time
Every word you would say
The fear you would upset them
Touch off another wave of aggression
Fear
Forgotten
But not quite
Migraine

They have been the stem
Of your sanity, your righteousness
Of your skills [?]
How could you doubt them?
You [?]
And they'd come home

Taken you
Taken you away from the only place you could feel safe
Your world
But you were stronger than that
They took your dignity
Very nearly your body
But no
You got away
