[Dee-1]
You know how I used to teach middle school right?
[Jojo]
Yeah
[Dee-1]
So, one day, my principal came up to me, and he was telling me I need to choose if I wanna be a teacher or a rapper, and I was like, "What?" Like, "Why I gotta choose? Why can't I be both? Ya heard me? When he told me that, that's the day I knew like: I'm not gonna be a teacher too much longer bruh. I'm bout' to really be a rapper
[Jojo]
Oh
[Dee-1]

[Jojo]
What made you pick a rapper?
[Dee-1]
Because I knew I could reach more people as a rapper. Think about it: I could reach millions of people, thousands of people
[Jojo]
You could reach millions of people, but you could reach thousands of kids
[Dee-1]
I could reach them as well, but who you think kids is listening to?
[Jojo]
I'm talking about as a teacher
[Dee-1]
As a teacher, but you think that more kids is listening to their teachers or their favorite rappers?
[Jojo]
