Hands Up

Shots fired over

Ancient agendas

Excused by narrow-minded

Tradition defenders

Force fed scare tactics

Target demographics

Then deranged agendas

Become privileged target practice

Another shared story

And we throw our hands up

More blood spills

Enough is enough

Another dead body

And we throw our hands up

I'm ashamed of my skin

Enough is enough

Shots fired over archaic ideology

While the fingers point

Lacking empathy

Force fed scare tactics

Target demographics

Then fear excuses

Police state target practice
