Olive Dakota
All-Stars
Somewhere between ages 8 and 11, I went through an interesting phase. I was still at my old school (as I mentioned in Poem, I went through a rough sixth-grade year there). I had a few real friends, but mostly, the people my age at my school were the type of people who had backstabbed me (or would backstab me in the future). I resorted to creating a small baseball team full of imaginary friends, who I spent many afternoons (and some days, when I was sent to time-out) "hanging out" with. Many of the characters I made up had interesting personalities that contributed to what seemed to my parents as just me practicing my pitching, but to me was a complete new universe, a universe in which I could do seemingly whatever I wanted.

The team name was the All-Stars, which was my go-to name for everything. There was one time when my team played the Japanese All-Stars, but that's the only thing I remember about our "opponents". I was living in my current house, and there is a brick wall separating our driveway from our neighbors' yard. As the pitcher, I would throw at this wall, to which there was a duct-tape strike zone affixed, and then either field the ball or pretend as if my teammates had fielded it.

The roster was as follows:

(deadname) (SP)
Suzuki (P)
Pedro (RP)
Steve (C)
Rocco (1B)
Mark (2B)
Freddie Jones (3B)
C.J. Superstar (LF)
Matthias (CF)
B.J. Superstar (RF)
Cody (?)

Click on each player's name for more details about them (remember, I'm going off of memories from five to eight years ago).
