An Ode To The Long Term Chair
Why is the long term chair so successful?
Is it because we brought Snapchat at $12?
Is it because we brought Spotify at $140?
Is it because we got Abbvie?
Was it cuz draft king goes up 30% after we buy it?
Is that really it?
It's 'cause we committed to it, that's it
That is our stone and that is our pond
We said we were going to do it, we did it
I don't care if it's boring, I don't care if it makes sense, I don't care anything
I'm going to do it once a month
I'm going look out for this I'm going to do this I'm gonna skip it
Oh, I missed one month maybe we will throw it here maybe we don't do this
Or maybe I'll tradе options first then we'll do this
Whatevеr it could be, right?
But this idea now take it beyond stocks and everything it's just everything in life
Even in Richest man of Babylon
One of the first stories Arkad is explaining to them
One of the first things he saying
You either ignore the laws of wealth or you're ignorant to them
This is all of you in your heart your desire
You wake up every day one fucking moment one of you
Somebody in here said I am not going to broke anymore
Or I am going to do this
I am going to elevate my life I am going to take it here
I do not want to be like this and you said I'm going to change something
Some of you never have some people you may not even be in this room I don't know who the fuck I'm talking to they are not here right now
They are still living their life your neighbor your friends whoever it may be
They still haven't had that conscious decision to be like ok you know... I'm not going to do this anymore I want that
That's what's gonna happen I'm going to do this
So you see what I am saying some have you made this decision already
So don't forget the part of success this is why I'm saying this is my reminder to you guys
Throw the stone every day
Wake up every day and remind yourself that you made that decision
So you can go there and make a small good decision to just keep it there and to keep going and keep going and about
The thing of success, again, is saying I'm gonna do this, and I did it
