NigelRigel: Hey guys! It's NigelRigel, and today (2/24/2021) I am here with Cyturk, someone new to the community. To start off, how are you doing? I know everything is a little crazy in 2021, so I just wanna know.

Cyturk: I'm great! I mean the only thing that affected me with the start of 2021 was the death of MF DOOM since I live in Saudi Arabia and my government is great.

NigelRigel: Yeah, MF DOOM's passing was sad, I can't say I listened to his music, but a lot of people in my circle did and it hit us all pretty hard. Which brings me to my next question: What kind of music & artists do you listen to?

Cyturk: I mеan I span out with the genres, I am a giant fan of anything Hip-Hop and Rap. I also lovе anything Indie and Alternative. I like some rock but not all. The artists I listen to are MF DOOM, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, A$AP Rocky, Tyler The Creator, Jack Stauber, Gorillaz, Wallows, Quadeca, Samad Savage & Lil Darkie. These are just from the top of my head I have of others if I think of more.

NigelRigel: Oh, nice! I see we share similar interests in music. I'm a listener of R&B and Rap nowadays. So I see listening to music is a big activity of yours, do you have anything else you do in your spare time?

Cyturk: Yeah I mostly study, but if I have enough time I love to paint and draw. Oh, and also reading, reading is one of the things that affected me as a child and continues to [do so].

NigelRigel: Reading? What kind of books interest you the most? Do you happen to have any favorites?

Cyturk: I love novels and graphic novels, one of my favorite series of all time is Percy Jackson. [I] tried getting into Harry Potter but it's not for me, this may sound childish but I love books like Big Nate and Diary of a Wimpy Kid all of these books affected me giantly.

NigelRigel: Trust me, you are not alone. I mostly read those books for nostalgia value. Harry Potter was one of my favorites I have to say, I never read Percy Jackson, I watched the movie, I couldn't really get into it. So an obvious thing you like to do in the free time is participating in the Genius Community. Tell me, what are your favorite parts of doing so?

Cyturk: My favorite parts are probably annotating and the forums, lyrics fascinate me so a place where I can explain lyrics is perfect and the forums are great for getting into the community and having fun.

NigelRigel: Agreed. I love the community and such, it truly is a great place to be around people as into music as you.

Cyturk: Yeah, that's one of the things I love about the community.

NigelRigel: Yeah. So is that what got you attracted to the community, or was it something else?
Cyturk: Definitely the lyrics as I said [before,] lyrics fascinate me.

NigelRigel: Nice! I know it was the same for me and a lot of other people in the community. You have 203 IQ [at the time of the interview] so you still have a way to go. On an unrelated note, do you have any music that you write yourself or any poetry?

Cyturk: No, I'm more of a person who listens [to music,] I can only play the ukulele but other than that I don't do music. Poetry fascinates me but [I] never got into it.

NigelRigel: Different strokes for different blokes, eh? I have one last question for you to wrap this up: What are your aspirations for the future? I know everyone has different goals, not a lot of people have figured it out yet, but have you?

Cyturk: I love to code [and] I'm really good at it too, so in the future might take coding as a career.

NigelRigel: Nice! I just bought this book on coding so maybe I could learn or thing or two.
