Make way, make way!
Oh yes, it's 1990 again
Oh, here’s the servant. Cheers! Here's to you
And we don't remember this room sounding as great as it sounds tonight, and we wanna thank our crew and Mud Honey. And Mud Honey wants to thank our crew
It’d sound pretty good with a basketball game in here
And that guy, he just got married. Who'd you get married to? Yourself, it's a same-sex marriage. He married himself
Oh, he married a nice young lady. Good for you, good for you
Personally, I think the other guy's cuter. But that's alright
Oh, no, that's the guy. You've got it
And Jeff, he's got a Random hat on. That’s random
Well, we thank you all for coming and I know it was under the auspices of us playing the last show on the tour, but the real reason we all tried to gather here today is to celebrate the one year of legalization of marijuana in the state of Washington
And we wish the rest of the country and the rest of the world can look at what’s happened in Seattle in the last year and nothings' happened. It’s all fine, it's always been fine
The only drawback is that now it's legal in Washington, you get used to it being legal, and then when you travel, you forget that it's not legal because it just seems very, very normal. And there are some places that still look down on that kind of thing. So you better be careful everytime you, let’s say go to other places. Just be careful. Don't go to Singapore with pot, right Jeff? Sorry, that's wasn't pot. It was mushrooms. Statute of limitations, I think you're clear brother. And also, we're here to celebrate the one year anniversary of the legalization of same-sex marriage in the state of Washington! And again, the rest of the country, and the rest of the world - whoever wants to check in - look what happened? Nothing, it's beautiful. There are no problems whatsoever. And the kids get it, and our grandparents get it. Even the Republicans are starting to get it. There were Republicans that weren't even starting to get it before, but yeah. But, I guess the whole point of that little thing - and this is how you end up having four hour shows, because of this little bit right here - but seriously, seriously, seriously, isn't it great to be part of a group that's on the right side of history? You should be very proud. This one's by an incredibly inspirational guy. We heard him through the records and he helped change our minds early. He helped change our minds early. He helped me understand what intolerance was, and understand that tolerance was the better way. And of course, I'm talking about Lou Reed from the Velvet Underground
