Burn out boy: a song for the ages
He's burn-out boy
Burn-out boy
Burn-out boy
Burn-out boy
Burn-out boy
Burn-out boy
Burn-out boy
Burn-out boy
Burn-out boy
He's burn-out boy, yeah
He's got lots to do
With no energy to do it
Whether it's done is up to the gods or you (or whatever)
Its 11 am
He should probably get up and make some breakfast but
Burn-out boy decide's he's just gonna kinda be hungry in bed for a while
And google photos of food instead of eating
Burn-out boy coming down the stairs
Gonna make some burn-out breakfast
Look in his burn-out fridge
Gonna grab his burn-out keys
Walk outside
Check the mail
Wear no pants
Burn-out boy walks inside
Opens the door
Forgets the peas (еr-) keys
It's on the mailbox!
Burn-out boy, look at him go
Burn-out boy grabbing the kеys
Looking back into the camera he smiles and winks to the camera
He acts like everything's okay (Burn-out boy)
Burn-out boy's gots lots to do today
But no energy to do anything
All he's got the energy to do right now
Is divide his attention amongst screens
For example
His phone screen
His computer screen
His laptop screen
His TV screen
His ice screen (Haha, gotcha)
But he does eat ice cream (He's eating ice cream)
Burn-out boy goes for a drive
Burn-out boy is running low on gas
Both literally and figuratively
Burn-out boy stops by at the gas station
He sees kind of a creepy weirdo at the gas station
He decided not to gas up today
Burn-out boy drives back home
With ten miles left on the gas
He just assumes he'll do it at a time when there's not as many weirdos at the gas station
Burn-out boy's on the phone with his nephew
It's his nephew's birthday now
And he goes, "Happy birthday, nephew! How old are you now?"
And the nephew goes, "I'm 45 years old"
Burn-out boy is now 70
He's burn-out man
And (uh) but he just goes, "Hey, nephew! Don't live your life like me"
"Just take- take a nap every once in a while."
"Life is full of roses and if you don't sniff around every once in a while you might miss it"
In the words of Arthur Miller or somebody
We are all burn-out boy
