Lost In Translation

Pages upon pages, as many books through the ages

And not one providing solid proof to truth in relation

To the common cosmic questions and ancient investigations

Iconic corroborations of toxic indoctrinations

A lot of it non-sensations, pure nonsense and not veracious

Simulated situations, the process of propagation

Copious amounts of copies; sloppy documentation

Omissions of information, translations miscalculated

Connotations misconstrued leading to misinterpretations

Moderate moderations, distorted dramatizations

Classic game of Telephone past forward from archaic

To modern civilizations in countless amounts of languages

Now it's about the fame and/or claiming that you're the greatest

In thе game who solved the mystеry, all knowing; all considered

This is industry, it isn't history; don't claim a victory

What it is, is the epitome of marketability

Up jumps the daisies; burying attainments

Focused on the wrong things; married to the mazes

Lost in translation; nothing remains, it's

All entertainment: fraudulent, vacant

Up jumps the daisies; burying attainments

Focused on the wrong things; married to the mazes

Lost in translation; nothing remains, it's

All entertainment: all for the chase

No preparation for this presentation, instead I intend to base it

All upon the basis of nothing, based on the basis of a hunch

Based on foundations, theories and estimations

No hesitation to reiterate; acceptance is expectation

Not deviation, just take it at face value; embrace it

I said it so believe it, no questions or speculations

Since everything is related, connected, and nothing's aimless

The now is not coincidence; on with the fabrications

'Til we're all trapped in trash and can't locate the exit door

When it rains, I guess it pours, and when it storms, then any port

Will do; who's who? I can't tell anymore

These days, I play by ear and wait to hear the engine's roar

Symbolic of the fact it never will; the train of thought has been derailed

No one's able to think for themselves, instead we're just fed our fill

Of fiction, even if it didn't start out as such

Over the years it's lost its meaning, now we're all out of touch

Up jumps the daisies; burying attainments

Focused on the wrong things; married to the mazes

Lost in translation; nothing remains, it's

All entertainment: fraudulent, vacant

Up jumps the daisies; burying attainments

Focused on the wrong things; married to the mazes

Lost in translation; nothing remains, it's

All entertainment: all for the chase
