Naethan Apollo
Scene 3: Toltag’s Reign
Captain: Hold on to memories like that, kid, your squad's all you got in times like this.
Apollo: Ah, you hear that, Arthur? "Our squad's all we got!" Everybody's shared but you, buddy, come on, what's your fondest memory?
Arthur: I told you. I have none.
Apollo: *sighs* Come on, man. Would you quit being a stick in the mud? Everybody has fond memories.
Arthur: Well, I don't, Apollo, and let me tell you why: because every day that I've lived has been another day that Toltag's reign of terror continues, and I don't look back on that fondly. He sits on his throne across the gulf, preaching his ideology that we don't belong. That we arе somehow outsiders. That we'rе not welcome in this land and that we deserve to be slaughtered for it. But I'll tell you what my fondest memory will be... when the steel of my blade is pressed against that monster's neck and I get to look in his eye and say, "No. You are the one that is not welcome."
