In Restropect
I’m leaving home
To start a ghost town
Park the car I wanna look around

You weave the thread of the lamb you birthed yourself
I pray to the lord you won’t need Satan’s help

There’s no king with an old conviction
There’s no jail without no crime
There’s no god without no children
It’s a crazy feeling

You’ve got beautiful skin
What could be under it
You’re a beautiful ghost
Where does barley grow

Your mouth is divine
You should put it on mine
I’m working I’m dining
At supper time

I’m damn near 30 miles away
From nothing
It’s haunting every motor function
My head's a Tesla coil banned from running
Pay my tab in fake money

My hotel is cold and empty
But that’s exactly what I figured
And as I lay in sheets of winter
Remember all has just begun

You’ve got beautiful tears
You cry so endearing
I’m made with your name
Melt the snow away

My hindering light
Made this town filled with sights
So incredibly mangled like dynamite

You’re better than me
In every way seen
I bleed like the fire that ruined everything

And as I lay alone
I can’t help but condone
Any acts you foresee
That may mimic me
