Trickle
Kagerou Days (English Cover)
August 15th, it's dead of the noon
There's a breeze of air I stare into the hazy blue
Such a pretty view

Beneath this hot summer sky, you and I, we fight the time that's always passing by
Spending our days all away the same, but something isn't right

"Gotta say, I really hate this summer daze,"
As if you said it just to spite the rays that are blinding today, when a cat came to play
Ah, but then the cat had ran away
And with a smile on your face
You followed it into the street
As the traffic light had changed into a red so bleak

CRASHING into you, a truck came passing by
Your scream hauntingly ripped through the summer sky
Breathing a bloody scent, you slammed into cold cement, I gag as my vision split and just can't take it
Is this all a dream? The heat is mocking me
"The Daze is fate, it's really happening!"
Gone like a cricket's cry
The blue of the summer sky
Now dyed in darkness
Gone without a goodbye

The ticking clock woke me up
In my bed I lay awake- a normal summer day
I check the time to find
August 14th, it's dead of the night
There's the bleakest light, I stare outside upon the midnight sky
And in that silent night came the blaring cries of crickets in my mind

Gotta say
Though this might sound a little strange
But yesterday things where the same-
I dreamt of today, at this place, where a cat came to play...
"Hey, I think it's best we get away."
Then came a twisted change of fate
Everyone's mouth opened wide
As they pointed to the sky with such a terror in their eyes

STABBING into you, a pole fell from the sky
Death came all the same as it tore right through your spine
Wind chimes were singing as you let out a cry that's bleeding, cutting the sky and filling the park with a scream
In the haze I hear the heat is mocking me
"The daze is fate, it's really happening!"
Vision fading away, my mind must be playing games, I swear I saw you smile with your last breath

Countless times I've heard the laughing from the haze
As the heat's engulfing fate has stolen all my days
We've been living out this pain decades
All I know for certain's that the end is all the same
In this horrid story that's been overdone
I will write an ending where you see tomorrow's sun
Far beyond all the pain of this endless summer day
「NoTicE mE TRuCk sENpAi!」
CRASHING into me, I pushed you to the side
Your scream hauntingly ripped through the summer sky
Breathing a bloody scent, I slammed into cold cement, you gag as your vision split and just can't take it
If the cycle was repeating all the same
The haze would say, "You can not a change a thing"
But here we are last, the countdown is ticking fast for you to wake to a summer that has gone past

August 14, a girl wakes to find, there's a haze of heat that bleeds across the summer sky
Her eyes begin to cry

"Couldn't save him again," it begins with no end she sits up with a cat she cradles tight
And in that silent night came the blaring cries of crickets in my mind
