Paradox
Detour
Here we sit in a car.
will we go far?
We slam on the gas,
then things become very fast.
Flying down the road.
passing all life's little abodes.
Just for the thrill of speed,
to suit all our dark needs.
Faster, faster, we go.
here comes a detour will we go slow.
Instead of going right,
we crash through into the final night.
Leaving behind the sign
that read; reality
detour, go slow.
Now we will never know.
