Don’t Wait for the Rain
Noah was a hardworking family man
Trying just to make ends meet
Keeping his faith in his Father's hands
Trusting what he couldn't see
The Lord told Noah
The rain was gonna come
He didn't ask why and he didn't run
He just gathered together
His wife and his sons
And he built an ark
People came around
Just to watch him work
Laughing as they called his name
Now that you know you can build an ark
How you gonna make it rain
Noah wasn't worried
About the barren ground
He knew the rain would be comin' down
So he turned to the people
Who were gathered 'round
And he said to them
Don't wait for the rain to fall
Don't wait 'til the skies are dark
When the door is open wide
And there is plenty of room inside
Don't wait 'til the storm is raging
To call upon His name
There's an ark of safety
But don't wait for the rain
Every now and then
There will come a day
When you feel like giving in
So many times people try to pray
Only when they need Him
You don't have to worry
Your prayers are getting through
He already knows what He's gonna do
So don't wait 'til the struggle
Is greater than you
'Til you call His name
Don't wait for the rain to fall
Don't wait 'til the skies are dark
When the door is open wide
And there is plenty of room inside
Don't wait 'til the storm is raging
To call upon His name
There's an ark of safety
So don't wait for the rain
Don't wait for the rain
Don't wait for the rain to fall
Don't wait 'til the skies are dark
When the door is open wide
And there is plenty of room inside
Don't wait 'til the storm is raging
To call upon His name
There's an ark of safety
So don't wait for the rain
Don't wait for the rain
Don't wait for the rain
