Twiztid
It’s For You. It’s Just For You
[Spoken: Jamie Madrox, Monoxide Child]
Okay, I hope you enjoyed that
I liked it
I thought it was cool, I actually do, I mean
It's cooler now hearing it
Now that I know it has a place in the world
On this- on this collac- on this collection
Of songs you're not supposed to play for anyone else
I feel like it served its purpose in life and and
And I feel better about it
It lived, it breathed, it had its little ass spanked
It did
And it survived
It did, and this is no different than this track right here, uh
"Say What I Say"
Now again another one, a very weird- when, when
When me and Monoxide first set out
To do Gеneration Nightmare
We had a lot of diffеrent wild takes
It wasn't even called Generation Nightmare
It really wasn't, it was called The Nightmare Children
It was called a couple things
It had a few different names
It really did, it evolved over time
And we kind of just let it grow as it did
But in that time, there was a lot of ideas and concepts
That were thrown around as to styles
And how Twiztid always does
We do, um, we try to go outside of our comfort zone
To see what we come up musically
And inside of those efforts
This was one of the songs
It's, it's fun it's campy it's upbeat
Its one of those songs where it's a good song
But it didn't fit the concept of the record
Agreed
So we knew it was going to come out at some point
We just knew it wasn't going to come out on this one
But the fact we are spending it on this record
Right here, right now for you, just for you
We could put this shit up on iTunes
We could!
And sell it
This could be Cryptic Collection fifteen, god damnit
Right
And for preorder right now, but its not
It's for you
It's just for you
So don't play this for anybody
You don't- you have to fucking remember
Do not play this shit for anybody
And if they hear it, it's on you
Or someone else who this is just for and they shared it
God, keep it to your fucking self
Turn it up, here it is, "Say What I Say"
