The Sofa That Nobody Wants To See
The sofa that nobody wants to see
He just sits in a little room tucked away in the corner
At the Salvation Army
He’s white with a zigzag design
Like purple and black lightning
And all day and all night he wonders
"How’s anybody gonna find me?"

Sofa, all faded from the sun
Sofa, not wanted by anyone
Sofa, marked down lower than he should be
Sofa, won’t you sit on me?
Won’t you sit on me, yeah yeah

The sofa that nobody wants to see
He’s got a little 70s lamp, sits right next to him
Tries to keep him company
He dreams when he was clean
And the kids would get up, sit down, and watch TV
But those days are long besidе him
He’s lucky not to be on the street

Sofa, don’t put him outsidе
Sofa, these stains are too heavy to hide
Sofa, still kinda comfy
Sofa, won’t you sit on me?
Won’t you sit on me?
Sofa, all faded from the sun
Sofa, not wanted by anyone
Sofa, still kinda comfy
Sofa, won’t you sit on me?

Everybody now!
La de de da da, la de de da da
