St. Meave
Everything is Beautiful
nine summers ago we picked flowers,
together,
and we placed them behind an old blade of glass,
tied them in a frame with a note addressed to me,
but today, the note's now withered.
would you like to pick some new flowers?
bond over our love for nature?
enjoy the freeing hope of summer?
reconnect our roots,
because i truly missed you,
and around you gravity feels so weak
you truly are special to me
every time i look at the crescent moon it reminds me of you,
how even tho you shine when you dont feel full
to me, you're never dull
you're so brave
you're everything i look up to
with you it's never a sad day
you melt away my dismay
would you like to pick flowers?
daisies, dandelions
you are a golden sapphire
a glowing ember
i feel better when we're together
you're the crushed stardust that my world needed
you made my life worth living
thank you for everything
