Running down the street
Scott looked back at me and said
This is another bizzare and
Thankless situation you've gotten us in

Oh, like you've never been in a fight before
Like you never caused a scene
Anyway shut up, Scott, you're not even really here

And this ain't the worst we've seen
We been through worse than this
We will live to laugh 'bout this
Just shut up and keep running
What did you say to make that guy so angry?

Scott smiles, I burst through a restaurant
To their kitchen back door
The cooks look up startled as I trip across the floor
"You used to be so good at getting out of things, Scott
How come you never taught me that goddamn trick?"
Outside the restaurant, we're sizing up the fence

Am I going to get over that?
And I've been through worse than this
And I will live to laugh about this
