Woman in a Pool
Woman in a pool, the color of her legs
All magnified against the blue
And the sun beats down on the wet concrete
Smells like chlorine, smells like barbecue
What would I give to be young again

When there was no such thing as a waste of time
Pick the wet grass off of your bare feet
And when you're done lean up against a tree
And watch the cars go up and down the street
What would I give to be young again

And when I die well you can bury me
In the playground of Wilson School
Where I fell in love for the very first time
I was six years old and already a goddamned fool

Woman in a pool, the color of her legs
All magnified against the blue
And the sun beats down on the wet concrete
Smells like chlorine, smells like barbecue
What would I give to be young again
