Life Has Turned a Page
They left Noosa in '72
To see the world the way some people do
See the mountains and the ice
Get to Byron Bay now wouldn't that be so nice
But she got pregnant and he could earn a wage
They'd just left Noosa, life had turned a page

They had children one to four
Lived in Wurtulla could hear the surf roar
They built a home near the dunes
And that is where the whole family grew
Till the eldest son burst the cage
Moved to Byrou, life had turned a page
He left the coast at that stage
Moved to Byron, life had turned a page

They're older now, winding down
Wurtulla has grown into a much bigger town
The rolling sea a constant sound
Gentler waves are what he's looking for now
Wurtulla surf has too much rage
Paddling out at Noosa, life had turned a page
Wurtulla surf has too much rage
Paddling out at Noosa he knows, life has turned a page
Rosemary, Thyme and a little bit of Sage
Life had turned a page
