I always knew that women were in charge
It’s been that way my whole life
My old man made suggestions and played the fool
It was my mum who made the rules

So I’m glad that we’re marching
But it’s a shame that it’s for women’s rights
I thought we would have sorted that out many moons ago
Thought we had bigger fish to fry

I don’t care if you’re a man or woman
I don’t care if you’re a little bit of both
And we can gender bend into the future
Evolution sure sounds fun

That’s why I a came to the protest
But now I’m here I’m a little bored
It’s like a part without any music
Like a gallery without any art

And you say that you want a revolution
I like my revolutions to be fun
All we got to do is get over ourselves and be nice to everyone

Well you probably think that I’m naïve and foolish (mmhh)
And who knows maybe you’re right
It’s not as easy doing it as saying it or singing it
It’s hard being nice to everybody all the time
