Ignite
Sanctuary
I'm picking up the pieces on a bold grey day
I'm asking for an answer every time I pray
And all sleepless moments still present in my mind
My soul is aching but my body is feeling fine
Looking to the left of me, looking to my right
Eternal Father, give me the strength to stand up and fight
Give me an inner presence, somewhere way down deep
To fight this dark inside, forgive this wayward sheep

Is there someone who'll rescue me?
Give me strength and versatility?
Is there someone who'll hear my plea
And take sin away from me?

Born the son of a sinner, my credentials are rather grave
Just a covenant in blood that His only son gave
When He broke the bread He said: "Eat, remember Me."
This man is not the son of hypocrisy
With Your word in one hand and my faith tightly in my right
Like a child I turn to You and walk blindly to the light
A million voices calling, but not a face I see
Through the realms of time and space I've found my sanctuary

Is there someone who'll rescue me?
Give me strength and versatility?
Is there someone who'll hear my plea
And take sin away from me?
