Imperative Reaction
Predicate
These are the events this is your despair
Who are your friends when your life falls down
The one you call close hasn't made a sound
How can it be when all you have is need
When it all goes away you're the one who bleeds
Obstruction of trust as you're reeling from the loss
Detached from what we know who can you trust
If you can't trust them where will you go
How can a world build to self-destruct
As it has and as it will we wonder
The promises conveyed will give nothing to dull the pain
A last say is what it is but no one wishes to hear
Stay the same and remember your stance but who are they
When you haven't a chance too many words and too little care
These are the events this is your despair
Who are your friends when your life falls down
The one you call close hasn't made a sound
How can it be when all you have is need
When it all goes away you're the one who bleeds
Obstruction of trust as you're reeling from the loss
Detached from what we know who can you trust
If you can't trust them where will you go
How can a world build to self-destruct
As it has and as it will we wonder
Time promises conveyed will give nothing
Dull the pain
I'll never surrender
A last say is what it is
But no one wishes to hear
Stay the same and remember your stance
But where are they when you haven't a chance
