The Journey (Think About It)
[Verse 1]
Chasing your rainbows
Life's so unpredictable
Just when you thought you had it
Slips through your fingers trying to find it's gone

[Chorus]
It's all a journey
Think about it, yeah, yeah

[Verse 2]
Finding your purpose
Finding truth, hoping to get closer to what he taught us to do
(And nobody can decide but you) Nobody can decide but you, hoo
(Think about it) Think about it, yeah, yeah

[Interlude]
So many roads we take
Decisions that we make on this journey
On this journey

[Verse 2]
How you livin' this gift of life God gave?
Have you touched somebody
Or being selfish and wasting away?
It's all a journey
Think about it, yeah, yeah
I feel you're running from Jesus our Lord
Oh, the clock is tickin', don't waste a minute more, hoo
Nobody can decide but you, hoo
Think about it, yeah, yeah
[Outro]
So many roads we take
Decisions that we make on this journey
You see, we all have our own personal journey to experience
(On this journey)
So how are you travelling your journey? (This journey)
What are you learning? Who are you touching?
How are you growing? Does your journey glorify God's name?
(Journey, and nobody can decide but you)
You see, in Matthew 25, Christ tells the story of the Lord that called his three servants to him and gave them gifts
(Think about it)
To one servant, he gave five talents, and to the second servant, he gave two
(This journey)
And to the last He gave one, and then they began their journeys (Journey)
The ones with the five and two talents doubled their gifts that were given to them and they presented them back to the Lord and they found favor with him
(Think about it)
And they were given even more, because see, in the word, it says they were found to be faithful over a few things, and were made rulers over many. But see, the servant that was given one talent was afraid that he would lose it or afraid somebody would come and steal it from him so he wasn't dealing in faith, see, so he took his talent and he buried it in the ground. And when it came time to present it back to the Lord, he didn't find favor with him. So his talent was taken away and given to the servant who had many. So, again, I ask you
(Nobody can decide, and nobody can decide but you, yeah)
What are you doing with your talents? And if this talent is this gift of life from God, what are you doing with your life? How are you living your life? How are you travelling your journey? Are you afraid to touch somebody or afraid to let somebody touch you? At the end of the day, are you gonna be able to stand before the Lord and hear Him say "Well done, my faithful servant"?
(Think about it)
Or will He say, "Depart from me, I never knew you"?
(Think about it)
How are you living your journey? Think about it (Think about it)
Think about it
And nobody can decide but you, yeah
Think about it
