Blu
Earth Garden
[Verse 1: David Barber]
Fight the daily battle, I'm no warrior though
Just a worrier
Trying to see clear but my lens has been blurrier than ever
And the constant conflict of now or never is getting heavy

It's discouraging to wake up wishing you had not
Envying the haves, pitying the have nots
Sorta living in the past, always listening to cats
I would bump way back in the day, keeps me warm

Coming down from a night full of mirage and lights
And a life full of storm on the worst of day
But I keep it cool, calm, collect my check
Then go lay at the back on the perfect man chill

Wait for some inspiration to build
Pray for civilization to kill itself
For too long so that we can all just be people again
And feel peaceful when we sleep

[Verse 2: Blu]
Ayo, Red, raw, rugged and raw
Bust in the door, bustin a four, don't trust you no more
You used to be a red from the bosom of God
Know when you should be Allah whether you muslim or not

I am the father, son and brother
I have a daughter
Sister and mother, she will become
No matter how many I have, she is the one

She memorizes every hook that I said
Like Hermetics used to memorize the book of the dead
Yeah, know when the queen is less than
The Goddess that God is, open your left hand
The earth is the garden and we starvin
Open your right mind and have a harvest
The new season is our return to Eden
Thank God for a green age we can believe in
