Sometimes I Feel Like a Stranger
The more I think about everything I gotta do before I die
I wanna write a song about the limits to the sky
That hangs like a blanket over me
We all just wanna find a place that makes us feel at home
A place to lay our heads at night
Where we can rest our bones
A place where we all can be at peace
Materialism is just a ghost
That I wear like a winter coat
That follows me everywhere I go, oh, oh
It's the only thing that keeps me on the road
We all wish for greater things
In hopes to gain more property
So we can leave with the sense that we've got something
Every time I leave my home
I kinda wish that I did not go
And I wonder why some people don't got nothing
Sometimes I feel like a stranger
When I'm here in Pennsylvania
Sometimes I feel like a stranger
When I am here at home
When I am here at home
When I am in your home
