I would watch my fish go 'round
Swim in his bowl, so safe and sound
Watch him eat little flakes of food
And never get sad and cry
Never close his eyes

Once a week I'd clean his tank
Put him in a little bowl, like a little adventure
Made sure the water's not cold
Don't wanna shock his little system
Clean off all the algae
Lay down new pebbles
Maybe blue pebbles

And he'd have a little light
So when I came home
He'd be the first thing I'd see
