Pokémon Art Academy Coming Soon
Fusing two great mobile franchises together, Nintendo is releasing Pokémon Art Academy to it's Western audience. Pokémon Art Academy will mix the best of both worlds. You will be able to draw detailed illustrations of selected Pokémon using the 3DS screen and stylus. This game will feature about forty lessons. In these lessons, you can paint Fennekin, Togepi, Oshawott, Lapras and many more. The in-game tutor, Professor Andy, will show you how it's done and teach you the ropes.
The game will also feature two other modes called Free Paint and Quick Sketch. The player will be able to use over one hundred references pictures of Pokémon to paint. Photos takes with the Nintendo 3DS camera can also be imported to paint, so the game isn't limited to Pokémon. And your finished artwork can be shared directly with other Pokémon Art Academy players or uploaded to Miiverse. Th art-based game will be available this fall for it's 3DS, around the same time Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are coming out.
