Robert Frost
Lovely, Dark and Deep
Whose woods are these I think I know
His house is in the village though
He will not see us stopping here
While his woods fill up with snow

The woods are lovely, dark and deep
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep
Miles and miles to go

So let the snow fall down
December paves the ground
And footprints disappear like the secrets they hold
Come with me-

I don't usually explore
I've turned back here before
We're opening up a door that we can't close
With lies as white as snow

Between the woods and frozen lake
We're driven as the snow to make
A stop without a farmhouse near
The darkest evening of the year

So let the snow fall down
December paves the ground
And footprints disappear like the secrets they hold
Come with me-

I don't usually explore
I've turned back here before
We're opening up a door that we can't close
With lies as white as snow
