Chrous:

The first small, steps of-my-life
Lookin' back now, oh-all-right
Gazin' back at the old mem-or-ies
Was whinin' and cryin' con-stant-ly

Watching my early life-un-fold
Makin' sure I had the right-one-rolled
Lookin' back at the old-en-days
Where I would just sit back-and-play

Where life was just-so-simple
No worries and no-mo-pimples
Talkin' like a baby, nothing-to-say
Man was crawlin' around, out-my-way

Verse 1:

June 20th, year is classified
I was born that day, seemed to be dissatisfied
But for my early years, I'd need to be pacified
As the hours grew longer and colder
As I was resting on my mothers cold shoulders
But soon the life inside of me, started to smolder
Not realizing that with every breath I grow older
It was the first stage of my life
Looked down as they grabbed the surgical knife
You know what to do with it, right
No need to get into the sight
Of the hospital care
But I was soon to be outta there
Was given a big blue bear
And a comfy little baby chair
I played in for hours, before I even had hair
Brought into my home, to be dealt with care
For the first small steps of my life
Small sharp squeaks as if I was a fife
Hell, my parents weren't even husband and wife
That was soon to come, a little later on

Verse 2:

As I was brought home from the hospital
Came across many impossible obstacles
The way I ended up in these trials were quite comical
These failures ended up becoming quite probable
But as I grew and grew, when I was just a baby
Everything started to from, and it was all so crazy
Maybe, when it all came to be, it all came to me
But let's leave that, for the chapter ahead
Right now is my deal, when I was a wee little kid
And with that said, I began to use, my arms and legs
Started to be able to function, and use my head
Now, moving towards goals when I was young
Were simple, like trying to get a word off my tongue
Have to learn how to crawl, and then to walk
But one really hard thing was to learn to talk
Keep all the thoughts, in my mind and stay locked
As if they were stuck in a box
Wasn't able to fluently speak my own mind
All anyone could really do was cry and whine
So that's how the first small steps of my life unwhined
So that's where I stood, yeah man it took time
