Dual Core
Urban Explorers
[Verse 1: int eighty & Sulfur]
Where to start: what doesn’t kill us makes it tougher
Moving through this concrete jungle like no other
Everything we cover over ground and even under
From an undetected universe that needs to be discovered
Old pubs and taverns, tunnels linked in tandem
Seeking urban caverns that forever been abandoned
Seen the writing on the wall seen the patterns on the tiles
Hieroglyphic styles reminded of X-Files
Seven pins in the lock that’ll open seven dreams
Seven stories, seven continents, crossing seven seas
Exploring every corridor you’d better believe
We’re sprinting to the finish and forever achieve
Climbing fences, drain pipes, but never need a ladder
Ventilation shafts even crawling through the rafters
Motion flips the lights and now everybody scatters
So we’re living for the moment like it doesn’t even matter
Locks will never stop us and these chains could never hold us
Disregarding limits that our teachers always told us
Train tunnels go down, architecture profound
Cities filled with industry remembered now as ghost towns
Empires rise but they always fall
Feel your heartbeat echo off these hallway walls
Ignoring all regrets and the fact that it’s illegal
Seeking out forgiveness in these hollow cathedrals
Visualize the past, transpire their fates
Long forgotten monuments, admire the greats
Walking hospitals, factories, entire estates
Finding time winding down in this tireless race
It’s better than adrenaline the prize that awaits
Got us cutting through the clearing fearing sirens will chase
And running up in gates, and moving quick through pried crates
Making my way on fire escapes
Where the dust blankets over the rust
Cracked creaky floors make it hard to trust
And we still bust through the doors, a must
Our minds harboring this wanderlust
Metropolis to city, town to town
Forgotten locations all around
Found the best way to experience a place in your travels
Visit the part it starts to unravel
The gavel of time, no rewind on the clock
WD40 for the pins in the lock
Everything crushed beneath that tick tock
From amusement parks down to office blocks
Ready to rock, you know with EDC
Always by my side (yeah, you know me)
Not hyperbole, traverse debris
Stay students in the class of entropy and we
Conquer skeletons of skyscrapers
History books becoming aged paper
Self fulfilling prophecies never taper
So we always stay ready for the caper
And they steady catching vapor if they think they catching us
Hanging from the ceiling, belt wrapped around the truss
Never stayed safe, like a moth to a flame
Clinging to the frame to view what remain
Unclaimed archaeologists sifting clues
Where the streaks of decay leave colorful hues
We peruse store fronts long since left bare
Checking out check outs, imagining what was there
Share a little moment with the past
Cause the sand slip too fast through that hourglass
Nothing ever lasts, even ourselves
So we can’t live in books on the shelves

[Chorus]
This one here's for all my world tourers
City, state, country, urban explorers
Now we get around to all the four corners
Here's three cheers for my urban explorers
This one here's for all my world tourers
City, state, country, urban explorers
Now we get around to all the four corners
Here's three cheers for my urban explorers

[Verse 2: int eighty & Sulfur]
Respect how the days pass, sunsets stained glass
Sanctuary claimed wrecking balls when the crane crash
Environments destroyed for a minimum of vain cash
Feel myself crumble with the rubble in the drain splash
Gotta find, chasing tunnels and their lines
Earth keeps spinning got us running out of time
Seeking reaching past the entrance covering in vines
Puzzles that I find still discovering my mind
Underground rooftops, low brow, high life
Concrete canopies with sewer grate skylights
Fools seeking gold when they’re only finding pyrite
Adventure’s the reward, seeing green without the lime light
Eternal in this process, never-ending conquests
Unstoppable forces, immovable objects
Open any mystery, ambition and our lock picks
Urban explorers, all capacities and contexts
Boundaries on maps are man-made lines
Ignoring the warning on trespass signs
Check the decline, yesterday’s designs
Keeping wits sharp never know what we'll find
Risking trips to the police station
Can’t cave to intimidation
Fascination for the edges that fray
And the places that we’ve thrown away
And I’ve been known to stray, off the path, where the bricks erode
Graffitied hieroglyphics like an ancient code
Moving carefully where the boards are brittle
On the third floor of an abandoned hospital
Whittle it down, what you have left
Picking at the bones, envisioning the breath
No theft, we respect the space
Taking memories, leaving no trace

[Chorus]
This one here's for all my world tourers
City, state, country, urban explorers
Now we get around to all the four corners
Here's three cheers for my urban explorers
This one here's for all my world tourers
City, state, country, urban explorers
Now we get around to all the four corners
Here's three cheers for my urban explorers
This one here's for all my world tourers
City, state, country, urban explorers
Now we get around to all the four corners
Here's three cheers for my urban explorers
This one here's for all my world tourers
City, state, country, urban explorers
Now we get around to all the four corners
Here's three cheers for my urban explorers
