Olin & The Moon
Angel City
The hills painted with houses
Stream lights and cars
It never gets dark enough to dream
Of all the things I lay so heavy
On my heart and on my mind
And all the places I've been to in my life

All I see are telephone poles and concrete walls
Abbandoned buildings and broken hearts
And all the things that make me wanna run
But if I stand here long enough
Will I become part of the rust
Faded and worn away
Will this Angel city become my grave

And all the stars above the skyline
I couldn't see them if I tried
So I'll be better off trying to dream them tonight

If I could just turn off the sirens
And the helicopters overhead
Just close my eyes and lay awake instead

All I see are telephone poles and concrete walls
Abbandoned buildings and broken hearts
And all the things that make me wanna run
But if I stand here long enough
Will I become part of the rust
Faded and worn away
Will this Angel city become my grave

And I'll watch it all fall down some day
The long [?]
Hanging around
Just strong enough to breathe
And go away

Now I see the fall growing in
And the sun going down
And the traffic piling up at the edge of the town
And all the things that make me wanna run
But if I stand here long enough
Will I become part of the rust
Faded and worn away
Will this Angel city become my grave

Will this Angel city become my grave
Will this Angel city become my grave
Will this Angel city become my grave
