Tidal Wave
When I touched the bottom
I knew I should have learned to swim
My father promised to teach me
But I doubted him
I will find a new way to make a move
In spite of the tidal
I will find a new way to get to you
Inside of the tidal
Wave
With my mouth wide open
My lungs are taking water in
Though I dream of oceans
I never wanted all of it
I will find a new way to make a move
In spite of the tidal
I will find a new way to get to you
Inside of the tidal
Wave
Will I drown, knowing What I
Could have done?
I’ll go down, but am I the only one
Will I drown, knowing what I
Could have done?
I’ll go down looking for the bluest of
Waves
Though I’m losing focus
I knew I should have learned to swim
Now I made a promise to meet you
But I doubted it
I will find a new way to make a move
In spite of the tidal
I will find a new way to get to you
Inside of the tidal
Wave
