Walking Dead On Broadway
Death Pilgrim
Descending down the crater of finitude
Stay in motion to quench not before it is time
I tore out my heart I would have had to delude
To grow my wish, grow longing for the dying chime

The palled world of the living is a vanishing light
That in darkness shall no longer blind me
I entered into silence to escape from the tide
Desire shall no more belie me

Walking, I vent my spirit to shrink thinner
Becoming vacuity, be flooded with fatigue
Arms widespread before the gates of the orcus
But where nothing should be, therefrom now soars a reek

The stench of survival
Requickens my pain

I ventured the hubris
To call death my friend
Bestowed my submission
To anticipate the end
I was abandoned by life and betrayed by the dead
The peace of the graves has concealed all the dread
Shoals of drones eating the past
My wish was to die, but death wants me to last

Hunt down the deceased

Wrath blasts the shell of patience
Unmasks a grim that has ripped in despair
Now, beyond the realms of nowhere
Comes to appear what has always been there

One moment in eternity
Holding hands with the damned
In the vent of hell
Where death and god do not dwell

I ventured the hubris
To call death my friend
Bestowed my submission
To anticipate the end
I was abandoned by life and betrayed by the dead
The peace of the graves has concealed all the dread
Shoals of drones eating the past
My wish was to die, but death wants me to last

The stench of survival
Requickens my pain
No peace for a guilty soul
Where death and god do not dwell
