Christmas time is coming, yeah yeah it's all amazing
But it's awkward when you run downstairs & realise that you're Asian
But see I'm glad that we arose this conversation
I'm sure you get your presents with a little light persuasion
But being brown and Christmas seems a little crazy
But we be breaking stereotypes that seem a little jaded
So kick back and relax, family gathering maybe?
Guaranteed off work but still your kids still screaming "pay me"
But holiday's a time for learning, time for bare reflection
We think about the less fortunate and our connection
We splashing all the cash and economy injection
But maybe we can help those in need and give protection
So even if you celebrate or not, you still can help
Not everybody got a tree or stockings on the shelf
Not everybody got a Santa, Rudolph and a elf
Not everybody got what we got, money and the health
So if it's Christmas on the snow, or Eid under the crescent
Diwali in the light, or Vaisakhi in the blessings
Or even if you're atheist, and none of that connection
Remember, don't forget that everybody needs a present y'all
