The park's currently magical
The sun makes Alessandra's hair glow
We're discussing Power Rangers
Discussing for the sake of conversation
I was a split second shy of melancholy
But getting to her was so easy
It made all of my assumptions seem silly

I don't know where I am anymore
I've lost my peripheral vision
But it won't stop me from disappearing under their eyes
I just lay there wondering what happened in the split second
I grew two hundred years old

The headlights make her glow so bright and faraway
