Ichiko Aoba - Watakushi no Circus (English Translation)
腸髪のサーカス / Visceral Circus

Cenotaph
O Cenotaph

Where are you going without me?
Where are you headed
Leaving me here alone?

The dust-laced mug
Sits silent and still
As if to refuse
Even fresh coffee

The cigarette stubs
Spilling out of the empty can
Are quite withered now
Encrusted to the bathtub
They sit silent and still

Didn't I tell you I notice everything?
I am terribly suspicious by naturе
You were only human after all
You and shе alike

My cold, astringent soul
Peels off the back of my throat
Sinking to the pit of my stomach
It sits silent and still
These trembling limbs cannot bear
This solitude
I crumble to the floor, a bed of needles
My frost-bound heart, crushed by cruelty
Slowly begins to crawl

Cenotaph
O Cenotaph

Where are you going without me?
Where are you headed
Leaving me here alone?

The rod responds to my touch
With a dull sound
When grasped, it smells of rust
My faithful antenna and I
We'll track you down, beloved
Yes, we'll track you down

Crimson has begun to flow
Expurgating the self
This visceral circus is my gift to her —
It sits silent and still
