I Remember 2006
Sitting in a park
(Verse One)
I vividly remember getting off the train
I'm still conflicted about you again
I'd like to think if you were here
I could find a way to help you
(Chorus)
Sitting in a park I await your heart
To see it crumble down from the infrasound
This time you'll have to know your part in the show
Sometimes facts cannot stand by the way you plan
(Verse Two)
I look out at the train leaving the station again
Scenes keep on replaying in my mind
You seemed to be toxic from the very start
So why did it take me so long to notice that
(Chorus)
Sitting in a park I await your heart
To see it crumble down from the infrasound
This time you'll have to know your part in the show
Sometimes facts cannot stand by the way you plan
(Breakdown)
This person, or these people, I considered close. And they move, and I feel I’m the one that remembers the most
I still feel like I remember most of what we’ve been through. When they moved away [Aaron, Mason, Chase, Brennan] it seems that I had the memories thrown at me. I know Chase and especially Brennan know most of what I know. Mason didn’t know that much. Aaron, the one I thought I knew, may know me the most, but I feel like I barely even knew him. He’s been gone for years; it doesn’t make it easier
